CMZ2005 High Low Dress

Image
So last month I had a wedding to go and I had planned on rewearing a dress.  Unfortunately, when I put it on, I wasn't loving the way it looked.  I will be completely honest and say I am paying for being lazy during quarantine.  So I started hunting for another dress.  I absolutely love the way the tulip hem looks and found several dresses, but they were way more than I wanted to spend.   I decided to check Amazon and found this dress.  Adjustable straps and it was beautiful.  It was $39.99 and has a 5% coupon, so I ordered it.  I wasn't expecting much and was planning on it maybe not looking nice enough for the wedding.  I was so surprised.  It looked way nicer than I expected.  It fit me perfect.  I normally am a small or medium.  I ordered a small and just adjusted the straps. Ok so day of the wedding.  Super comfortable, looked amazing.  But the slit in the front is a true slit.  There is no ...

Dreamlover Hair Ties

I have legit tried so many hair ties. I have thin hair and I never can seem to find one that lasts or that doesn't leave horrible creases in my hair.  I had most recent been using the plastic springy ones.  I'm not really sure what they're called.  But they always stretched out so easily.  I saw these on @ darylanndenner Instagram story and decided to give them a shot.  I'm hooked and I've gotten my sister hooked as well.  I got a 50 pack on Amazon for $6.99.  The only downside I will say is they only come in black.  I would have preffered brown or a blonde color.  But they last, I've only used like 2 in a couple months and it leaves a slight crease only if I put my hair in a tight ponytail.

NatureLab Tokyo Volumizing Shampoo and Conditioner

I have really fine hair and am constantly switching between shampoo and conditioner brands because so many make my hair oily and weigh it down.  This is the first shampoo and conditioner that doesn’t!  I love the smell.  It is a light cherry blossom, but not too perfume smelling.  And their website advertises their products are free of Parabens, Sulfates, Phthalates, Animal Testing, Animal Cruelty, Animal Derived Ingredients.   Count me in!  Once you get the bottles they also sell convenient refill bags.  You can find it at Ulta , Amazon , or NatureLab 's website.

Tarte Shape Tape Concealer

Just trust me and get this, okay?  As someone who works evening/night shifts, I always have bags under my eyes.  I had always just bought drugstore concealer and it was okay, until I found this.  Literally, the best coverage ever.  No more eye bags.  Even covers scars flawlessly.  Full size is $27, but if you’re unsure on shade, the travel size version is $10.  It comes in 35 colors.  You can get it right on Tarte , but I know they carry it at Ulta and Amazon as well.
Hey all! Looking to start posting some lifestyle content, but mostly reviews on things I purchase.  I realized I love hearing reviews on what other people buy before I purchase things.  I often see people post things though saying they would never purchase something a blogger or influencer advertises.  And I hear that.  But I have before and I've found some cool things that way.  So I'll be posting what I buy and whether I like it or not.   And if you have something you've been hesitant to buy because you saw someone advertise it, send it my way.  I'll try it and be honest!
