CMZ2005 High Low Dress

 

So last month I had a wedding to go and I had planned on rewearing a dress.  Unfortunately, when I put it on, I wasn't loving the way it looked.  I will be completely honest and say I am paying for being lazy during quarantine.  So I started hunting for another dress.  I absolutely love the way the tulip hem looks and found several dresses, but they were way more than I wanted to spend.  

I decided to check Amazon and found this dress.  Adjustable straps and it was beautiful.  It was $39.99 and has a 5% coupon, so I ordered it.  I wasn't expecting much and was planning on it maybe not looking nice enough for the wedding.  I was so surprised.  It looked way nicer than I expected.  It fit me perfect.  I normally am a small or medium.  I ordered a small and just adjusted the straps.

Ok so day of the wedding.  Super comfortable, looked amazing.  But the slit in the front is a true slit.  There is no lining under there.  And it was windy.  I had a small crossbody clutch and ended up wearing it sort of on my front during the outdoor cocktail hour or else everyone was going to get a free show.  I also needed to be mindful when standing up because when you sat it opened a bit.  I didn't have any actual issues but something to consider.  And being that I am smaller on top and larger on the bottom, it could had been a me issue and would fit someone else better, but overall I was impressed and got lots of compliments on the dress.

  I have legit tried so many hair ties. I have thin hair and I never can seem to find one that lasts or that doesn't leave horrible creases in my hair.  I had most recent been using the plastic springy ones.  I'm not really sure what they're called.  But they always stretched out so easily.  I saw these on @ darylanndenner Instagram story and decided to give them a shot.  I'm hooked and I've gotten my sister hooked as well.  I got a 50 pack on Amazon for $6.99.  The only downside I will say is they only come in black.  I would have preffered brown or a blonde color.  But they last, I've only used like 2 in a couple months and it leaves a slight crease only if I put my hair in a tight ponytail.

Mossio 7 Set Packing Cubes

Lets all plan some trips finally!  I have never owned packing cubes and never thought I needed them.  But this set was only $17.99.  I took it on a recent weekend trip and it made functioning with a duffel bag so much easier.  It’s 3 cubes, 3 different sized laundry pouches, and a shoe bag.  The cubes expand much larger than I thought they would and it definitely kept me more organized.  You can get them here .
